My Songs.

All the songs you see here inspired by some life experience I have had.  My music is a product of the Earth, the fresh loam of a plowed field, the dust of a Country road, the morning dew in summertime. While my Grandfather's riverboat style, clawhammer tenor banjo was my first inspiration The Calton Family Bluegrass Band was my greatest inspiration, back in the mid - 1970s. At some point in the '80s I began to realize my talents fell more into the Classic Country Music spectrum, and began to absorb Merle, George, etc..  I haven't moved on... primarily because I believe if it's not broken, don't fix it!

Since I am a perfectionist as well as a hopeless romantic, many  of my songs are laden with lost love stories, melancholy, and some with a good deal of emotion.

Years ago, I did a stint as a Luthier, building flattop guitars.

I also was involved in the Transportation Industry for 31years and even owned a small trucking company for a time.

For a limited time I am offering downloads of this copyrighted material for free. If you are an artist looking for new material, feel free to adapt the words or melody to fit your work, but FIRST SEND ME AN EMAIL REQUESTING PERMISSION! I will grant permission in most conceivable circumstances, and written permission will save both you and me a lot of hassle.

My motivation behind all this is simply to preserve my songs, and popularize my music.

Peace,

David C Schupbach
